The planes, Cessna brand, remains the preferred drug traffickers to get cocaine into neighboring countries. Santa Cruz, between January and April this year, four ships with drugs were discovered by the Special Force against Drug Trafficking (FELCN), a crash and another disappeared.
The first discovery occurred on 8 February. A small plane with Peruvian and Paraguayan flag registration, crashed in northern Gaza, nine miles YapacanÃ, shortly after takeoff.
According to testimony from neighbors before fleeing, withdrew the drug traffickers and burned the ship.
Two days after the fact, on 10 February in Yapacani, 121 kilometers from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, a small plane carrying two plates, a Paraguayan (ZP-PZU) and a Brazilian (PT-KET), fell by a bad pilot maneuver, but its occupants were unhurt and escaped. Initial investigations indicated that the aircraft had at least 200 kilograms of cocaine.
February 22, in Warnes, 80 kilometers from the capital Santa Cruz, FELCN apprehended five people and seized a Cessna plane that was supposedly used to transport cocaine.
